ePresence Interactive Media emerged out of a KMDI research project on webcasting with experiments beginning in the late 1990s and has continued to the present day. To facilitate scaleable communications and knowledge sharing at a distance, the research team are engaged in research to make Internet visual communications:
- engaging, delivering rich media
- interactive
- accessible in real-time and via archives
- useful for knowledge building and sharing
