Biography
Nina Czegledy media artist, curator, and educator has collaborated on international projects, produced digital works, and participated in international workshops, forums and festivals. Czegledy, International Program Director, Leonardo Education Forum, recently developed, coordinated educational conference forums for 14 international symposiums.
Current projects: “ Gyorgy Kepes and Frank Malina”, Ludwig Museum, Budapest, “Angles and Intersection” Quadrilateral Biennial, Rijeka, European Mobile Lab for Interactive Artists,Thessaloniki Biennale and Katovice. Personal Chronicles– solo works Crosstalk, Budapest, Grey Area Gallery, Croatia. The Visual Collider in collaboration with Marcus Neustetter, Vela Luka Gallery, Croatia, Auerole with Bettina Schuelke 2B Gallery, Budapest. Czegledy participates in “Illustrating Medicine” SSHRC project. Recent projects: "What will you do to help us cool the earth?" Nuit Blanche 2007, Govett-Brewster Gallery, New Zealand. Intercontinental presentations, academic lectures have led to numerous publications in international books and journals. Member: LEAuthors, Leonardo SpaceArt Network, Board member: Intercreate, New Zealand, Leonardo Mediterranean Yasmin group, ex-officio Chair ISEA. As a KMDI Senior Fellow, adjunct associate professor at Concordia University and Honorary fellow of the Moholy Nagy University, Budapest, Nina plans to continue her involvement in cross-cultural interdisciplinary collaborations in art, science and technology.
